White at the Beach

It's been so long since I've worn white denim and I have no idea why! I love when people wear white in the winter, but for some reason I seem to stay away from it. I get so stuck wearing black all the time and it can get a little gloomy. So, about a week ago, Ollie and I were going for a walk at the beach and I decided that white just felt right. Now, I don't know why I ever avoided it.

Even though I wanted to brighten things up, it was still freezing cold so I knew I had to bundle up to keep warm. I went straight for my fave sweater which is this oversized one from XO Bella. I wear this thing so much -- it's so warm and cozy. To go with it, I wore some of my new necklaces; two from Olivia Solie and the new "A" necklace from Albeit Jewelry, which I actually won in a giveaway on Viva Luxury. Such an amazing score!

  1. White in the winter is a gorgeous look. The way you wore it is also classy! I love the sweater and the shirt you wore underneath. The teal necklace also is enough to add a pop. Love it!

    As for white in winter in general, some people who wear TOO MUCH white need to stop. At that point they just blend in with the snow haha.

  2. Love that coat! I do love the white pants in winter, but mostly on other people rather than myself. I am very pale and usually would only do white if it was a white or creme cozy sweater.

  4. Omigosh, I love that A necklace... I should get one for myself! It's so delicate. As for wearing white in the winter... I would but I feel like I'd get my pants all dirty from the rain in Vancouver (back splash) or the snow here in Calgary.

  10. The lighting is so dreamy in these pics! I too love the look of white on white in Winter, but sadly have never worn it. But it gets so rainy and muddy where I live, Id end up having grey pants by the end of the day. :) Love the outfit and your boots are too cute!

  13. White is great for winter! I can see steering away from it, though. Here in Washington winter sometimes means dirty roads. But if it is doable, go for it!
    I like how the sweater breaks up the color-block feel of the outfit(from a distance). Those necklaces are sweet.
