Life Lately

Life the past few days has really just consisted of being sick and (I hate to admit) miserable, so I just wanted to do a little recap on some of my favourite things of the past few weeks.

Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Vancouver. I can't get enough of the little surprise flowers that don't give up in the cold, the fallen leaves that create a blanket on the ground (and I should probably help to rake...), and the beautiful change in the leaves -- especially the trees that have all the different colours in one.

Along with fall comes the start of holiday parties and getting dressed up for the occasion!

I had such a fun time on a photoshoot with my good friend Jess, who has started up a boudoir photoshoot business in Vancouver. Make sure to check her out!

A few captured moments: what my sick days have consisted of (lots of reading, tea, and throat candies), sunrise on a beautiful fall morning, and the sweet treats from my parents' house!

Some of my favourite new items from the past couple of weeks: J.Crew Necklace, KVBijou Rings, and Rebecca Minkoff bag.

Thanks so much for visiting!

  1. I'm so sorry you've been feeling crummy these past few days, Alison :( And I just have to say, I hope I'm not next...I was headed for the Skytrain this evening to make my way home after an afternoon spent downtown, and I had someone DELIBERATELY turn his head and cough right in my face as he passed me!! Can you imagine?! P.S. Love your blue ring!!

  3. Sorry you've been sick. I like the layout of this post...I like the small little snipets of instagrams. To me, cargo green and stripes with denim is my fave look of the moment. :)

  5. Fall is by far my favorite season, and Canada is such a green country (or so I believe) so I can only imagine how amazing it must be there! This post made me realise I'm not following you on Instagram yet. How did that happen!? xo
