Bundling Up

My goodness is it freezing outside! I don't know when this happened, but all of a sudden I'm going to have to start wearing thermals under my clothes. I don't know how it's possible, but the cold seems to surprise me every year. At least this year I feel that I'm more prepared with warm coats and scarves to bundle up in. Hopefully it will help!

On Sunday, my girlfriend Tarryl and I went to the Privilege Holiday Party and were spoiled with Bailey's and hot chocolate, cake pops, and plenty of holiday shopping! I'm not sure what it is about this year, but I'm really looking forward to the holidays more than usual. I feel like this year it's been a long time coming rather than sneaking up on me like it usually does. Since I feel like it should already be Christmas next week, I'm so in the mood for holiday shopping. This means lots of sequins, sparkles, and cozy sweaters. I found the cutest fuzziest one on Sunday and can't wait to show it to you! I also left with the one in the second to last image -- a perfect basic striped tee. I don't think that one is available online, but they've got lots of other cute stuff so make sure to check them out!

I was wearing:

Zara Coat
Lord & Taylor Scarf (similar)
Browns Heels (similar here, here and here)
Michael Kors Bag (love this one)

Thanks so much for visiting!

  1. It certainly IS darn cold out there!! You are right - if this keeps up, I'm going to start worrying that I won't have enough coats to get myself through the season!! But on the bright side, the lack of rain means that you get to wear these fab fuschia pumps without ruining them...so pretty with the grey and black!! And the scarf is the cherry on top!! :)

  2. You look so cute & cozy! I love your coat! And YES, I totally agree, it seems to have gotten absolutely freezing lately, out of nowhere. Photos are becoming slightly painful. It's this time of year that I always wonder how we survive when it dips down 20-30 degrees colder than it is right now! Just insane! And that photo with the sequins makes me a little giddy for holiday times! :)

  3. Yes, it is absolutely freezing this week! I am looking forward to the holidays more than usual this year too :) I can't wait to start decorating and baking cookies! Also I'm still looking for a new winter coat as chic as yours... Zara is finally coming to Seattle so I'm trying to hold out for their grand opening, but it's getting too cold to wait much longer!
