Sunny Days

Happy Saturday! I hope you had an amazing Valentine's day -- whether it was spent with a loved one, some great friends or relaxing solo -- I hope it was the perfect evening.
Ollie and I cooked an amazing seafood risotto and spent the evening relaxing with some red wine at home. We haven't ever actually gone out for Valentine's Day, but we go out for dinner so often that it's sometimes nice to spend the time making our own food while drinking wine and talking about our days. Also, it turns out that we make a mean seafood risotto, so there's really no need for the restaurant after-all :)

These photos were taken a few weeks ago and I had completely forgotten about them! How I could forget such a beautiful sunny day, I have no idea, but I was going through some old folders in the hopes of finding some unpublished photos and there they were! I think this was right after I bought my new fave sneakers and we spent the day apartment hunting and driving around checking out some beautiful views. I love Vancouver on days like this and it's really coming at the perfect time since it has been raining kinda non-stop for a while now. Hopefully it will let up so that we can take some photos this weekend!

I was wearing:

Zara Coat (similar here)
Zara Top
Isable Marant Sneakers (also here and in nude here)
Asos Bag (similar here and here)

Thanks so much for visiting!

  3. Wow, Alison...your red bag practically glows in the sunlight, doesn't it?! It's such a lovely accent for your black and grey pieces; a great way to add some colour without going "all in!!"
