Malecon

Happy Hump Day! Today was the longest feeling day that I've had in a very long time. It was my first day back to work after a week and a half off and it was tough. Luckily, there's only two more days left before the long weekend, so I will be back to relaxing in the sun in no time.

These photos were taken on what I think was the only overcast day we had in Mexico. In the evening, we experienced a crazy lighting storm that seemed to go on for absolute ever. I've never seen such an amazing storm before -- one shot of lighting right after the other -- and Ollie got some pretty rad photos from it too (I'll show you those later). But back to these pics -- they were taken along the Malecon in the town of Puerto Vallarta and I thought I was going to pass out from the heat. What you can't see is the sweat dripping down my neck and back, but trust me -- it was there. We had to duck into a Starbucks to get a drink of water and take advantage of the air-conditioning before I ended up on the floor. Luckily, I was wearing next to nothing and the sun was nice enough to stay behind the clouds for the most part. This top served me really well during the trip because it is so light and sheer, and this skirt will now forever remind me of this holiday.

I hope you have an amazing night! xoxo

I was wearing:

Urban Outfitters Top
Topshop SKirt
H&M Bag
Zara Sandals
Sass & Bide Sunglasses

Thanks so much for visiting!

  2. Love the pattern of this little skirt, dear Alison!! And when the weather is THIS hot, the simpler the outfit, the better...you actually look fresh as a daisy here (even though you felt completely wilted!!) P.S. One of the only things I miss about living in Toronto is the incredible thunderstorms they often get there!! ;)
