SVMF Day 2

As I mentioned in the last post, Ollie and I were lucky enough to go to the Squamish Valley Music Festival with Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren and Hudson's Bay over the weekend.
On our second day there, we had a much needed sleep-in at the gorgeous Chateau Whistler (comfiest beds ever!!) and checked out the local area of Blackcomb and Whistler. I don't think I've ever been to Whistler in the middle of summer and I am quite surprised at how warm it gets! I would love to come again soon to check out the local lakes and the bike trails. I had no idea that Blackcomb has its own little village and it really is such a pretty area. The mountain was literally right behind our hotel and I could just imagine how perfect this would be for skiing in the winter. You could just keep on skiing right into the hotel!

And so, after we had a late breakfast and checked out the Crankworx festival, we headed to our second day of SVMF. On this day, I wore my very favorite Denim & Supply look of the three. I felt like a true boho babe and I can't even tell you the number of compliments I received in it. Ollie and I were actually both photographed for BC Living on this day as well! (Check it out here.) I think that the contrast of my loose and flowy materials to everyone else's crop tops and high-waist shorts really stood out and I love the free feeling it gave me. I could have danced all night in this look! And I suppose that I did. I mean, who could resist dancing to Sam Roberts, the Roots and Arcade Fire?

On this particular night, we were treated to the most incredible super moon ever. It rose right over the mountain as we were dancing to Skream and it couldn't have been more gorgeous. Check out the photos that Ollie snapped of it below!
