Happy Monday! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I've been living vicariously through everyone at NYFW and am so determined to go next season.I had really hoped to go this time, but unfortunately it didn't work out. And I'm so sad that it didn't! The shows are looking so incredible and the weather looks perfect and really I just miss New York so much. Yes, next season for sure.
Today is my first day as a self-employed person and I feel as though I've got a good jump on the day. I woke up at my regular work time and showered and put on real clothes as if I was really going to work. I know I could easily just stay in my pjs all day, but I don't want to get into that rut. Once I start that, I may never stop! And then what kind of fashion blogger would I be? The one thing that I am missing is coffee. There's just something about a cup of coffee on the desk that makes the day so much better. I suppose this means I'm going to be a coffee drinker again... Maybe I'll just stock up on Kombucha instead :)
These photos are from another set that was taken on the long weekend at our friends' cabin. Ollie and I took a walk along the beach and had the entire place to ourselves. I love hidden areas like this -- they remain so untouched and you feel as though you are the only ones there. It's so different to the overcrowded beaches in Vancouver and this is the exact reason that Ollie and I like to get out of the city as often as possible in the summer. There's nothing like fresh air and a little peace and quiet to recharge the batteries.
I was wearing:
Sam Edelman Necklace
Thanks so much for visiting!
