Sheer Lace in Mexico

Happy Friday! I hope you're having an amazing week. Mine has been so great -- sometimes all you need is a change of pace and routine to give you a new lease on life.
I felt as though I was becoming a bit too pessimistic and unenthusiastic -- especially when I feel that I have always been so care-free and easy going in life. I didn't feel like myself and it was beginning to wear on me, but all I really needed was to remove myself from a toxic environment and I already feel so much better! As a Sagittarius (and natural wanderer), I have never been good at feeling tied down or "stuck". I need freedom and creativity in my life and now that I have that possibility, I feel as though a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't know exactly what will come of this stage in my life, but it feels good right now. I'm happy and that's what the point of all this is, isn't it? I've always tried to remind myself to enjoy every moment, but lately that was seeming harder and harder. Hopefully now I will be able to put it into practice and get back to my old self. I can already feel it coming.
These are my final photos from Mexico and I'm sad that it has come to an end! We still have plenty of footage for a video (which I can't wait to finish), but this was our last night there. I wanted to finally show this dress the way it was meant to be and I just love the romantic sheer lace. Isn't it such a beautiful piece? It reminds me of all the Stone Cold Fox dresses that I am so obsessed with right now. This is a much more affordable version but I feel that it is just as beautiful. I wish I could walk down the street like this, but I'm afraid I don't have the confidence for it.
These are probably also my last summer photos, so I feel as though I need to savor them. I'm so not ready for fall...

Also, don't forget to enter the One Fated Knight leather tote giveaway! You have until the 21st of September, but it's best to enter now so that you don't forget :)

I was wearing:

Wild & Heart Dress
Le Chateau Bikini (very old)

Thanks so much for visiting!

  6. Your black lace dress is truly a stand-out, dearest Alison!! Not all asymmetrical hemlines are created equally - I'm sure you know what I mean! - but this dress gets it just right!! Of course, it's amazing as a coverup for the beach...but I'm totally confident that you'll find a way to rock it in the streets of Vancouver, too!! :)
