Even though it's not a long distance to travel to the island, I still like to dress in ultra comfortable clothes whenever I make the trip. This means jeans, a t-shirt, flats and a long coat and scarf to keep me warm (for some reason that ferry is always freeeezing cold). Last weekend I was particularly tired after my cousin's wedding, so I truly wasn't too worried about what I looked like. A classic trench will always help to make you look pulled together and these new loafers are the perfect disguise for being comfortable without having to pull out the sneakers.
The very best part about this look is my new Claire Vivier bag, which I am totally obsessed with. This tote has the perfect slouch and you can fit all the essentials in it without it getting too bulky or bent out of shape.
I'm so into navy blue right now -- I feel like all the items on my wishlist are in this color!
You can never go wrong with a classic trench. This one was a steal from H&M and it does the job perfectly. No need to splurge all the time!
My band tee is super casual and relaxed, so I threw a pretty scarf over-top to pull the look together. Scarves add so much to a look and fall is the perfect opportunity to pull them out.
I've been needing a replacement for my old loafers for such a long time and I just found these ones from Browns. They are so incredibly comfortable and I find that I'm wearing them with almost everything lately. They are such a great way to look chic if you don't want to wear a heel.
You can see the perfect slouch to this bag here. I love the relaxed but chic effect this gives.
I hope you have an amazing Thursday! The weekend is almost here :)
