NYE Sparkles with Jessica Luxe

I hope you had an amazing Christmas! I took a few days off over the holidays to spend time with the fam and enjoy some time away from the computer. I actually had every intention of working, but I was just enjoying my pjs and quality time too much to bring out the laptop. But now I feel like I have so much catching up to do!

I'm so excited to share this project with you because I was able to team up with one of my favorite Vancouver bloggers, Jessica Luxe, and Courtney Boutique to show our unique ways to style sparkles for New Year's Eve. We met at the boutique for a morning of shopping to choose our looks and even though we have such different styles,we still kept to our sparkly theme in our own ways. We both veered towards an edgy look, with mine being completely monochrome in all black and Jessica being her usual colorful self and looking every bit the vibrant girl that she is. I had such a blast and hope you enjoy the photos! Also, make sure to check out Jessica's post here
I love a good all black look, especially when there are different textures within it. I've added multiple layers to stay warm on the always freezing Vancouver NYE.
I added a sequined cardigan under the leather jacket for even more sparkle and to keep warm on the super cold night. Plus, when else can you wear multiple layers of sequins?

These silver shoes are far from the most comfortable ones I own, but I just love them with an all black look. Especially for a bit of extra shine on NYE.
My Rag & Bone bag really just goes with everything so I stuck with the edgy theme and decided against a sparkly clutch. It was a last minute decision, but I think this worked well. Plus, it's way better for hands-free dancing!
Jogger-style trousers might not be the most obvious choice for NYE, but these ones in a silky material were the perfect juxtapose to all those sequins. I needed to tame it all somehow!
We both loved this ring from Courtney Boutique so much that we decided to be ring twins. Aren't they so much fun?
And no NYE is complete without sparklers! Luckily Jess is super prepared and came with plenty.
I hope you have an amazing New Year's Eve! xoxo
Both looks are from Courtney Boutique

Thanks so much for visiting!
