Life Lately

I hope you're having an amazing week! I feel really bad that I haven't been posting quite as often as usual, so I just wanted to give you a little update of what I've been up to lately.
I found that January was quite a slow month and it had left me feeling a little uninspired and down in the dumps. I'm not sure what it was -- maybe the come down after the holiday season or the bad weather or just the lack of activities throughout the month -- but I was feeling so unmotivated to do anything on the blog. I had been picking up quite a few shifts of work and I think that I was just so tired at the end of the day that all I wanted to do was cook some dinner and watch Netflix for the rest of the night. One thing that we did do a lot of was adventures during the weekends. Like I mentioned in my last post -- I've resolved to get outside more this year and explore what Vancouver has to offer. So far it has plenty! Below are some of the shots that I've posted to Instagram but didn't make it on the blog.
So now that January is in the past, I feel like I have renewed energy and inspiration for the blog. I have a few upcoming projects that I'm really excited to share with you and it looks like there are quite a few more in the works. The projects definitely keep me motivated and I love coming up with creative ways to tell the story and show them to you. I really hope you enjoy them as well.

We also have an Italian holiday coming up at the beginning of April, so planning for that has gotten me so excited. I haven't been to Europe in so long and I have been itching to go back for the last couple of years. We are going to stop over in London for a few days before heading over to Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast. I have been to the main destinations in Italy, but never to the countryside like we plan to do this time and I really can't wait to spend a couple of weeks there. Both Ollie and I used to live in London (at separate times) so we are going to have so much fun revisiting our old stomping grounds and showing off the places we used to love to each other. It's still a couple of months away, but I so love to have a trip like this to look forward to. If you have any suggestions on places to go or things to see, I would love so much to hear them! Especially good places to eat -- that is always the best thing to get suggestions on.

I hope you have an amazing day and I will try to post a little more regularly from now on. xoxo
