Yesterday was my relaxing day and I think I might have actually overdone it. I went to an intense Barre class in the morning and then spent pretty much the rest of the day watching Netflix and Amazon Prime from the couch. And I've discovered a new show that I am obsessed with -- it's called the White Queen and it's by the same people that did the Tudors. These types of series are definitely my guilty pleasure.
So, after such a lazy day, I thought I would post some photos from last weekend when I wasn't lazy at all! My good friend Celina (from Fabulous Furnishings Upholstery) suggested we go for a light hike at the Lynn Valley Loop in North Vancouver. Seriously -- such a gorgeous place! And not exactly what I had imagined from the description of "light hike", but it was definitely doable and worth the effort. We took these photos at the end of the hike when Celina had to run ahead to make an appointment and sat to enjoy the beautiful scenery. It was so warm on this day that I was able to actually get away with wearing just a t-shirt! So then, at the very end of taking these photos, I was jumping across the rocks and fell right into the freezing cold glacier water. Not so warm after that, but luckily Ollie (my hero of the day) was nice enough to give me his socks so that I could make it back to the car without any brutal blisters or discomfort.
And now, today has turned into such a gorgeous day that I might just have to change my plans and get outside for a bit! I think a lunch with my man is just what the doctor ordered. xoxo
