Roma

Rome was such a whirlwind of a day for us. We had some pretty serious jet lag, but we wanted to cover as much ground as we could because it would be our only full day in the city.
We had both been to Rome before, but it was great to revisit the sites and get some serious touristing done. Our favorite part of Rome was easily the neighborhood that we stayed in, Trastevere. It is somewhere that we would have never thought to check out, but we had booked our accommodation through airbnb and this place had great reviews so we decided to give it a chance. The place wasn't the most luxurious by any means, but the location more than made up for it. It had an amazing energy, with tons of restaurants, bars and shops that were hopping with locals and seems to be out of the way of the usual touristy scene. It was great to get a feel for the real Rome and I was sad to only have 2 nights here. But it was a great intro to our trip through Italy and a sign of good things to come!

I was wearing:

Topshop Jacket
Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren Shirts
7 For All Mankind Jeans
Sam Edelman Boots
Madewell Bag
Saint Laurent Sunglasses

Thanks so much for visiting!
