I'm not very happy about it, but sometimes there really isn't anything better than a cozy sweater to snuggle up in. I bought this one last winter from Aritzia and I just know it's going to be a favorite again this season. One way to keep from feeling too blah once the gloom sets in is to keep the looks light and bright while remaining muted to stay with the tone of the season. This is the way that I'm able to transition without too much of a shock to the system.
I wasn't certain I was going to love the color of these jeans, but once they arrived I was so happy with them. And even better than the color is how crazy comfortable they are! They are the new baby of local brands Dish & Duer, which they are calling an "athletic jean". I personally feel like they are more of a trouser, but that probably has to do with the color of mine as well. Plus, they are just way too comfortable to be a jean! The fabric is a super lightweight, quick-dry technology and is said to keep you cool when it's warm and warm when it's cool. I tested them out over the weekend and went for a walk on the seawall and down at the beach with Ollie. I'm happy to report that they're super comfy and I would give them a nice big thumbs up! I especially think they would be so perfect for biking to work in. One thing worth noting is that they fit quite large. I went down a size but they are still quite big on me. These are a sample piece so the actually sizing might be a bit different, but it's definitely worth keeping in mind.
They've got a kick starter campaign starting tomorrow and I would definitely recommend jumping on this one! I always love supporting local brands -- especially when they have something so unique like this. Check out the campaign HERE!
