It must mean that something amazing is going to happen, surely. Well, this year I think it means that spring is coming nice and early and I can already feel the change in the air. Also in the lighting outside. Being a Vancouver fashion blogger means that I am totally at the mercy of the weather (I swear it rains like 90% of the time and is daaaark and gloomy). So once spring hits and the sun is higher in the sky, I can always notice such a difference. This weekend was the perfect example -- it was still cloudy, but sooo much brighter. I'm not sure if you will notice the difference, but it makes my job so much easier when I don't have to do so much brightening and color correcting to my photos! Man, I love this time of year.
I've also brought out some of my spring wardrobe and am finding myself turned off by all of the heavy coats and sweaters that I have lived in for the past few months. Instead, I reached for my classic trench that is always my go-to for the transition period between seasons. I've worn it so much that I can easily see why people can justify splurging on an expensive Burberry trench. It seriously never goes out of style and it looks great with pretty much everything. I wouldn't mind upgrading mine, but this budget version has treated me quite well so far. I don't think I'll give up on her quite yet.
I was wearing:
7 For All Mankind Jeans
One Fated Knight Bag
Necklace was a gift from Ollie's mom
