Menswear Inspired

Styling My Life Fashion Blog x Studio Ninety9 Photography
Happy Sunday guys! I love a beautiful feminine dress, but more often than not lately, I've been drawn to a more masculine way of dressing.
I find it to be so easy and effortless and freeing. You don't have to worry that everything is in place and be constantly fussing with your clothes. You can move and sit and eat so easily when you're dressed like this -- it's probably why 95% of the time, I'm dressed like a boy at work. There's really nothing better than being comfortable on a long day in front of a computer. I tend to stick more masculine accessories as well, while incorporating a couple of dainty pieces of jewelry like this lariat necklace and druzy gemstone ring.

These trousers will forever remind me of Italy because I bought them while in Rome and wore them for a day of sightseeing around Florence with Ollie's family. We got some of my very favorite shots for this blog on that day (see them here) and just thinking about it is making me so nostalgic. I've actually got the travel bug really bad lately and am itching to head on our next holiday. We've decided to save up this year and forgo any big trips at the moment and I think it's making me want to jet off even more! We always want what we can't have, right? Well, at the moment that is sunshine, beaches and crystal clear water. September can't get here soon enough!
