this post) and after taking a walk along the beach near our motel, we starting looking for somewhere to eat dinner and have a glass of wine. Now, we knew this town was on the small side, but we hadn't expected the lack of options for dining. When I say that there was one restaurant open to eat in, I'm actually not exaggerating. To be fair, we were there on a Monday night in the off season so we shouldn't have expected too much -- I think it just caught us off guard. But we got a nice little table outside at a place called the Reef Bar & Grill and ate the best vegan pasta dish that I've found in a restaurant to date. Add to that a delicious glass of red wine and we found a winner.
We had thought of staying another night in our new favorite town, but the weather was turning the next day and so we headed to our next stop along the coast. I'll have some photos up from Seal Rocks next!

The next morning, we woke up to one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Some places cannot be judged before you see them in the daylight and Forster is definitely one of them. We had stayed in a small motel near the main beach, but once we got out to explore along the coast, we discovered where the real beauty lies. There is a path that goes along the entire coastline, opening up to the most spectacular view of the waves crashing on the cliffs below. You can follow this path for a couple of kilometers before it ends at One Mile Beach.
