I've always been a huge lover of sunsets -- growing up on the west coast of Canada, we are always treated to its beauty whenever the sky is clear enough for it -- but I've never taken much advantage of the sunrise (I'm also a huge lover of sleep). But like I said, we were staying right across from the beach on the east coast so we had to take the chance of seeing a sunrise while there. I must admit that it wasn't the most spectacular of all sunrises, but there was still something so magical about it. With no one else on the beach and the water so still and calm, it felt like we were the only people in the world. We've decided that we need to do this a little more often and now that we're in Indonesia, I have a feeling there might be some good shows.
At the moment, we're at the airport in Bali on our way to an Indonesian island called Belitung. We'll be staying there for a week of relaxation, snorkeling and beach time. I'm really hoping it looks like all the photos I've seen because I'm craving some pristine beauty. I suppose we'll find out soon enough!
I hope you are having an amazing week. xoxo
