Brooklyn was such an unexpected treat; I'm so glad that we listened to the recommendations to spend a day here!
The trip started out a little sketchy, with multiple crazies on the Metro, but Brooklyn was nothing like what either of us had expected. It was such a short trip to get here, but ended up being a whole other world. After a few days of non-stop noise and action in Manhattan, it was so nice to escape to the quiet and picturesque streets of Brooklyn. We had a walk around, checked out a street market, visited the cute little Barneys and a few of the boutiques before heading down to the Park and a nice long walk along the water before tackling the bridge. It really was the perfect day and I'm so happy we took this little escape.
It was another gorgeous and hot day, so I decided to wear my Topshop romper (that I had previously worn here in a more formal way) and my most comfortable pair of sandals for the huge amount of walking that was on the cards. It was so comfortable and I love a no-fuss look like this one -- especially when you just want to enjoy your company and the view and not worry about any distractions like rearranging your clothes or having sore feet. I hope you like the photos! These are some of my favourites :)
I was wearing:
Sass & Bide Sunglasses (Tortoise Shell)
Urban Outfitters Sunglasses (Pink)
Thanks so much for visiting!
