Happy Monday! Ok, I even annoyed myself just then. Nothing is happier than the weekend -- that's for sure. We had pretty amazing weather in Vancouver these past couple of days and it was so perfect for a weekend of relaxing and getting back into a healthy routine.
As I mentioned a couple of posts ago, I've started practicing yoga again and I'm feeling pretty amazing. Exhausted, but amazing. I've been trying to go everyday just to get back into the swing of things and then I'll see how I feel once it comes more natural. I don't know if you're anything like me, but once I start a new routine, I need to go full force and put all of my energy into it, otherwise it will just fizzle out and I'll procrastinate and lose interest. I've mainly been doing hot yoga and I can already tell a difference in the way I feel. Nothing like sweating out all of those holiday season toxins!
These photos were taken yesterday on a beautiful and chilly day. When I was in the sun, I could easily get away without my coat, but once in the shade it was a different story. My two favorite things for keeping warm in the winter are scarves and hats. Both of these items here were actually Christmas presents! The hat was from Ollie and the scarf from my brother. I couldn't have chosen either of them better myself. I really love the way the scarf adds a touch of brightness without being overboard for winter -- especially after all of my dull and dark looks lately. I hope you like it! xoxo
I was wearing:
Holt Renfrew Hat (similar)
Gap Scarf
Mimosa Heels (similar here)
Thanks so much for visiting!

loving the "unlikely" combos of the print scarf, destroyed denim, fedora and leopard heels. good for you on the hot yoga -- i should probably follow suit!

you look awesome! it is obviously a LOT warmer there than here! enjoy that great weather!
ReplyDeleteI have the same hat but in grey - Ollie clearly has good taste! ;) I am upping my fitness this year too... hopefully we both succeed. I have been thinking about doing one of those 30 day intro yoga things; which one do you go to? I was thinking Yyoga or Semperviva since they're both close.

You definitely should! I'm going to yyoga but I really love semperviva as well. either one is a good choice. We should go to a class together!
DeleteYes, we should! I think I am going to wait a month to sign up in an attempt to avoid the resolutioners so I'll message or e-mail you when I do!

Sort of a "hobo-chic" look, no?! And I mean that in only the coolest, most flattering way, Alison!! Those majorly distressed jeans and that tomboy fedora contrast like crazy with your killer leopard pumps...and that colour-blocked scarf!! Wow!! Nothing here quite "goes" together; and yet the whole look is just...perfection!!

Lol! I was thinking the exact same thing when I was getting dressed but I just loved the way it turned out so I went with it. I think the pumps make it all ok :)
