We had the strangest weather in Vancouver this weekend -- it snowed for three days straight yet none seemed to stick to the ground.
Well, none until the last day anyways... It did need to create a slushy mess after all. These photos were taken on Sunday, which was the second day of snow, but as you can see -- no snow at all on the ground! How weird is that? Well, it made for quite the tricky day of photos, that's for sure. Ollie has been super sick with a man flu, so I decided to venture out into this slushy/snowy/sleety mess of a day and take my own photos with a tripod. I'm actually pretty happy with the way they turned out! It was awkward as all hell and embarrassing a couple of times as well, but I totally did it!
I've been waiting for a snowy day to wear this adorable toque that Ollie got for me and I had a feeling this might be my only chance. Isn't it just way too cute? Worn with the perfect shift dress from Love and Hunters, I think this is the perfect snowy day look :)

Love the look and that hat is so adorable! You always have the most inspiring outfits! Also loving the polka dot tights. I guess the word that sums up my feelings for this look is love love love. And I totally agree. What the heck was up with the whacked out weather we just had?

Abso-fricken-lutely adorable!! Take this as fair warning, Alison...don't ever come around me with that beanie, 'cause I'd steal it in a heartbeat!! ;) Love the way you paired your waterfall cardi with a dress instead of the more expected jeans; and those bright red Hunters are just so much fun!! Great job on the photos, too!!
