And can we talk about the perfect rushing? Hello hidden tummy and goodbye lumps and bumps. I haven't felt this confident in a bodycon dress in a very long time.
I feel like every time I am choosing a new item this season, I am instantly drawn to grey. I always thought that grey wasn't my color, but seriously -- I think grey is everyone's color! I know it can look a little drab sometimes, but when it is in the right piece, it is absolutely chic. This dress in particular is made out of a super warm wool material that surprisingly doesn't itch like crazy. I don't think you could find a more perfect fall dress that will take you from the office to happy hour than this one.
I love that the rushing on this dress doesn't stop at the hips, but instead is distributed throughout the entire length of the dress. Optimal trouble area coverage.
Feeling confident in your curves is a beautiful thing. Sometimes you just need to find the right piece!
The rushing acts as an accessory in itself so I didn't feel the need to add any jewelry whatsoever. This is especially great for the office where it can be nice to be a bit more minimal.
A structured bag like this one is so perfect to take you from the office to the bar. Just throw on a wool coat if it gets too cold.
I hope you have an amazing Tuesday! xoxo

Damn girl! You look gorgeous - this dress is perfect on you!
ReplyDeleteThis grey dress is simply stunning, dearest Alison!! I find myself leaning towards slightly more minimalist looks for autumn, too...and in the case of this sleek wool beauty, your gorgeous black pumps and the structured bag add all the "embellishment" that's needed!! :)

This dress does look amazing on you! This would be a perfect dress for work and beyond. I would just throw on a blazer because I work in an uber conservative work environment.
