Happy Thanksgiving!! I'm away from Canada and so I will be missing the Thanksgiving long weekend with my friends and family this year.
I'm a little sad to be missing out, but in reality my parents are away traveling in Europe so they won't be there anyways. I will just have to live vicariously through everyone's Instagram and Snapchat updates. I must admit it's giving me a little FOMO!
DON'T FORGET TO FOLLOW MY JOURNEY ON INSTAGRAM!

For the past week, we've been mostly stuck into work and trying to get a few things sorted before we head to Thailand. I think we're pretty much ready at this point -- now we just need to see ALL the beaches before we go. There's a spot south of Sydney that is known for having kangaroos on the beach and if there's any possibility of a road trip, that is where we'll be headed. I mean, seriously. Beaches AND Kangaroos. I can't think of a single thing that would be better than that.
Tomorrow, we are headed back into the city to pick up our passports so fingers crossed we will have Thai visas! The ones we applied for are good for 3 months, so it will give us a nice amount of time before having to make a border run. It's coming up so quick that I haven't even had a chance to think about it! I'm going to have to start doing some research soon. We've got our flight and first 2 nights accommodation sorted so at least we've got a couple of days to figure things out.
Since we've been spending most of our days at the computer, we had been seriously neglecting our beach time. This just won't do -- especially since our remaining time here is so limited. When we get to Thailand, our first few months will be spent in the mountains, so I feel like I need to get in as much beach time as I can while it's still possible. It has really started to warm up in Sydney and tomorrow is meant to be the warmest day yet. Maybe I'll finally get my bikini out!

So true! I love blogging, but that computer can get a bit much sometimes! I think I spent 12 hours on it yesterday... A little too long!

Thank you so much Helen! I'm getting pretty excited for Thailand but it looks like there's a potential for unrest at the moment. Hopefully we can still go!
