Keeping Warm in Spring Colors | STYLE WEDNESDAY

I feel like I've only just gotten into the groove of winter and it's already time to transition into spring! Well, it's nowhere near spring weather in Canada at the moment, but I would be lying if I said that all the new spring lines aren't making me feel like it is. And of course this makes me super happy because there's nothing I love more than warm weather.

Since it's still a frozen tundra outside, I thought a nice way to bring the spring vibes without sacrificing warmth would be to introduce some spring colors. Does anyone else get sunny-day-ski-hill vibes from this one? You may have seen this sweater on my winter basics haul and I actually got it in Australia of all places. It was a very kind gift from Ollie's mum and I'm loving that I finally get the chance to wear it.

The color screams Spring, but the chunky knit is so soft and cozy, I feel like I'm all bundled up for these freezing cold days. And actually, the fabric itself is super lightweight and so I don't get that claustrophobic feeling that a lot of heavier wool items give me. Does anyone else get that or is it just me? Well, if I can give you one tip for a transitional sweater, it's to find one that will actually transition with you and not suffocate you once it really does warm up outside. But since it doesn't seem to be doing that anytime soon over on this side of the world, I'll just brighten up my wardrobe with beautiful colors to tide me over.
